Don is making me drink lots of water. I'll tell you why.
We left Grand Junction with the idea of seeing how far we could go towards Denver. We hit snow in the canyon just aftter the town of No Name. At 8150 feet in Vail, snow again. 10653 the Summit snowing and 20*.Yay wool socks! Passing turnoff to Leadville and Copper Mtn. where Sharon and I got ttrapped in a blizzard while hiking. Great memories. 11990 feet now and going thu he Eisenhauer Tunnel. We later learned they closed it shortly after we went through.Passed though Idaho Springs and took picturres of frzen waterfalls and Statue of Steve Canyon, old cartoon character. Made it to Golden and Don was very woried about ourr holding tanks possibly freezing. TThings close early at this time year so we had to scramble tto several stores to find RV anti freeze. Target let us down. We didn"t want to put that stuff in our drinking water so ou next stop was tthe liquor store. After consulting via phone with Russell, we decided vodka was preferrable to gin. We are having way too much fun. While pouring 2 litres into our taank we were laughing so hard, we almoost spilled it. Anyway tthe last few days Don is mmaking me drink lots off water and he seems to think I am easier to ttravel witth. However my ttyping is geting worsh.
