Indy

Don't let the picture worry you. Junior has been so active lately that he had a small problem with his arm. Fortunately we found a place that took good care of him and he is fine now. Our camp was on the edge of a lake,  loaded with catfish. They were catching 10--15 pounders. No room in our frig so we passed. Weather has been great. No heater for three nights now. Starting to see flowers and new leaves. We tried to go to the college hall of fame to see pictures of  Boom Boom Martin, listed in best looking baseball player categories. After all, look at my good looking grandchildren. Unfortunately it was closed on Monday. So we will never know. Then on to ABM. But for some reason, Don didn't think this one was boring. I took lots of placard photos for those of you want details. The rest can skip them.

We took a bus on a lap around the course. It went considerably slower than when we went with the pace car starting a race at Laguna Seca. That one went so fast I thoughtI was going to embarrass myself. Inside the building was fascinating. I liked seeing the safety barrier sample. Quite the variety of cars and memorabilia. The small models were exact copies. How does anyone have that much patience? oh, Goldie, there were pictures of Montana and Harbaugh but I couldn't find any Raiders.
Don and Jr were waiting for the race to begin until I reminded them it was the end ofApril, not May.
We got in a race car and it was easier getting in than out. To enter or leave the course, you drove under the actual track. We almost forgot Jr. There. Are four golf holes in the center of the course and the rest off track.. We went to see if Don could play but it had been so wet, it wasn't opening until the next day. Sometimes our timing has been just great.
